The Army would have been better staying with the Reaper, same airframe, engine and avionics suite. The cost of the program would have been cheaper overall, the logistics would have been the same for all forces thus having better control on the project. The Army just seems to always add on the little goodies which increase cost dramaticlly. The turbine engine is a better powerplant and parts availability is great. The heavier airframe of the Reaper can handle anything the Army wants to add to it.
